Optane M10-No worky On MSI Z690 Edge Wifi DDR4

Intel Optane does NOT work on the MSI Z690 Edge Wifi DDR4 board. And probably most other (MSI) Z690 boards.

I use a ram disk for my Lightroom catalog's...don't ask. I thought instead I would try an Optane module to replace it. Well no matter what I did which included specifying PCIE speeds and gens, different slots, drivers, VMD on or off (including per device) etc, it would not show in bios. I can see a it in Aida64 in windows as a PCIE device but nothing more than that showed up.

So yeah you can't use it as a storage drive on this board at least with a 12700k despite all the conflicting information online.

Guess it will end up as a ZFS cache or what not at some point in the future.
