Maul makes me feel like a kid again (Spoiler Free)

Unfortunately due to trauma, most of my childhood is currently just a blank space in my head. One thing that stands out though, though it's probably more my early teenage years, is the Star Wars: The Clone Wars, especially the Ahsoka, Anakin character arc.She was the first character on a TV show or movie that I actually felt true raw emotion for. I cried for her and felt angry for Anakin.

The Clone Wars also created a reason why Anakin's became Darth Vader and slowly shows his descent into darkness. Anakin feels like everyone he knows in his dogmatic order has been a lie and I relate to that so so much!

I've always loved the concept of Star Wars, but I feel like it's become complete trash,for a while now. And I don't believe the older movies have held up that well either. But the Clone Wars is one of the few shining shimmers of light that Star Wars has in my mind. And the Maul TV show gives me that same feeling.A sense of wonder care and respect to Star Wars.

Not to mention the fantastic animation style which while looking modern doesn't give you the uncanny valley effect .So far all the character story lines are interesting and I kinda wish they would have just released the whole season to binge! Maul just gives me a lot of nostalgia and a lot of feeling like a kid again and I need that right now. So thank Dave Filoni for actually making yet another good piece of art in the Star Wars Universe.
