Honey Update 1/7/25 🥺

Not a great post to start the new year unfortunately. Went to the Vet a few days ago as she was struggling to breath again . They tried draining fluid from her chest cavity but there really wasn't any . After further looking it seems the fluid is in the pericardial sack which is by the heart preventing her from being able to fully expand and contract in that area and limiting her breathing. Unfortunately they are to scared to try to drain that. We are going into a EKG today which will tell us if we have any other options on how to treat this. If not we may try to get it drained somewhere else if possible. Since its quite dangerous but It is worth a try if we will have to put her down anyways... We will see what happens in the next few hrs. Wish us luck we are all falling apart here.
